Dr. Docharty attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland before completing her surgical residency through the prestigious Kaiser Permanente program in 1993. Dr. Bakal joined Capital Foot and Ankle in 2012. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. After college, she attended the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University. Her surgical residency was then completed at Kaiser Permanente, North Bay Consortium at Vallejo, Vacaville, Santa Rosa, and San Rafael. During her residency she also had surgical training at San Francisco General Hospital and Alameda County Hospital. Mark Drake was born and raised in the Roseville area. He is ABPM certified. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of California at Davis. After attending the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University, he completed his surgical training at Hunt Regional Medical Center near Dallas TX. He has special interests in foot and ankle trauma, sports medicine, and wound care. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters. They enjoy doing outdoor activities including camping and swimming.
Barbara Ross, DPM, is a well-trained podiatric surgeon at Capital Foot & Ankle in Roseville and Folsom, California.
Dr. Adams grew up in Sacramento and received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Southern California. For graduate studies, she relocated to Glendale, Arizona, to study at Midwestern University’s prestigious Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine. Returning home to Northern California, Dr. Adams completed her surgical residency at the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Bay Area Foot and Ankle Residency Program.
Loving to travel, Dr. Adams participated in several medical missions to Central America, Mexico, and Vietnam. Treating patients worldwide gave her a unique perspective on various conditions and promoted her study in transmetatarsal amputations and melanoma of the foot. She has a clinical interest in sports medicine and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
When not with her patients, Dr. Adams enjoys staying fit. She has run multiple marathons, including the California International Marathon in Sacramento, and also enjoys swimming.
James Kinchsular, DPM, provides comprehensive podiatric services using his many years of experience to provide relief for all ankle and foot needs. Dr. Kinchsular believes in compassionate and cost-effective care to uplift patients and strengthen doctor-to-patient relationships.
Dr. Kinchsular’s journey started with a baccalaureate from the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, where he was awarded class honors for his exceptional performance.
He went on to complete a doctorate in podiatric medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and received recognition for his accomplishments. He became a member of the Pi Delta National Podiatric Honor Society and received TUSPM Podiatric and Merit scholarships.
Following his stay in medical school, Dr. Kinchsular attended a residency at Kaiser North Bay Consortium, in Vallejo, California. During his residency, he attended many lectures at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California to gain crucial insight into evolving podiatric care.
Dr. Kinchsular is currently a fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He also maintains his continuing education through the American and California Podiatric Medical Associations.
